How Can I find Out What Entertainment Is Available?

i'd like to know in advance what music concerts are available and where they will be held so i can plan accordingly.

i can't seem to find a web site or other source to rely on. even DR1 isn't a good source. i wrote to the dominican board of tourism, but they referred me to DR1

I've asked the same question and was told that they only advertise on the telephone poles in the DR about 2 weeks prior to a gig. So I gave up. When I land I check the poles to see who's playing where....

You might find something if your looking for bigger concerts in Santiago or STO.

i dunno why it's so damn hard. i was hoping there was some central entertainment clearing house. i'd sure hate to have to do it the hard way. by pulling up all their websites one by one. i already did that for zacarias ferreira before i went in january. his people got back to me and said he was playing in europe.

i dunno..... i'd think it would be very very cool to see antony santos or some of the other great dominican acts over there. they are here in nyc all the time, but to me, just not the same thing. i dream about some new year's eve concert over there. that and getting great BBBJ's by beautiful young girls who won't bore me to tears with female conversation, while my other pals are back home freezing their balls off. and trust me... there's a lot of up side to not speaking the language! all i really need to get by in the DR with chicas is to Point & Pay!

I believe that there is an ongoing thread on DR1 for concerts. People post about upcoming concerts. It's nothing official but I guess it better then nothing
