N.Y.C live Bachata in vivo ?

Sorry to be out of topic but...

I will be in NYC from March 27 to 30 and would like to dance to live bachata & merengue music.

If there's no such place, any hint for lounges or clubs playing this type of music will be appreciated.

    Many thanks

Live might be tough unless somebody knows of a concert.

There is an "almost-live" Domincian club in Waterbury CT. But it's a 2-hour drive from NYC... Friday nites can be good there.

There is a club called Grand Jubilee Ranchero (SP?) on 94 ave its right outside of Laguardia Airport in Astoria, they have live bands there on occasion from DR. You also get alot of the latin girls that work in the airport and hotels in the area, some spanish language skills would be helpful

keep looking at this webpage every week for new events..Also, go to Dyckman in Washington Heights (on the corner of Nagle) and you'll see so many posters of upcoming tipico, merengue and bachata concerts (in case you want more options)
