If you had to do it all over again where would you go on your your first trip?

Thumbs Up Re: Brand Newbie in the Eastern U.S. Says "Hi" and asks...

Excellent question! Where was YOUR first trip? (Or where are you planning?)

My first trip was to the DR, Sosua.

The other options were Costa Rica or Cuba. Still never been to either but I'll get to cuba eventually. CR can wait for a non-mongering focused trip...

My real desire was to go to Asia, specifically Thailand but at the time it was totally out of reach and well beyond my comfort zone so I went with inexpensive and close, Sosua.

Never regretted it and I'll be getting to Asia, specifically the Philippines to start, sooner than later.

Also want to hit up Jamaica, Central and South America, Europe...sme for chicas but most just for the experience.

Times change and so do preferences but for me and many Sosua was a great choice!

When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.
Your opinions are not my problem...
