What ever you would like to know, give me a shout, or shout it out here, I can answer what ever you like. You might enjoy a stroll around Parque Morazon' at night.
I wouldn't mind reading a trip report with some pictures of the ticas, maybe Ian idea about what to expect there. We don't have much about it on this board, except jimmy went ot the Zoo there.
Kevy:
They have a pretty good zoo!
For all first timers I highly reccomend at least your first couple of nights to be spent at the Hotel Del Rey/Blue Marlin. This is the epicenter of the Tica Buffet, but there are always some nice side items: Comombianas, Nicas, y Dominicanas. So if you have certain itch, you should be able to itch it here as well as the sister to this place across the street at the KEY LARGO were there is much more of a Party, Dance, Live Music Situation, where the Blue Marlin, is kinda the typical bar, chat you up scene.
And from there , the world is your oyster, depending on what you like. There are trips to the beach with your choice of guest, the massage parlors, some good casinos, the strip joints(night clubs they are called), to the novia scene, what ever you like.
And if you want to escape the mongering for a while, there is so much else to divert your attention.
A days walk, chill session on Avenida Central can be an incredible visual sensation, along with a night out to El Pueblo to rock it with the local hotties, if your younger and decent looking, you can pull in there for the low low cost of maybe a dinner.
haven't been to cr in about a year so i can't speak as to the economy of the puta situation these days, but in the past, i had luck with 60-70USD ST, to 100 TLN, which definately is more cost effective in the DR, just the selection maybe not as varied. The columbiana hard core putas drive up the market. and the uneducated so called mongers.
just a tid bit for you kevy and any one else, i know it doesn fit the post, but i was asked to expound a lil, so had to comply
The zoo looked good in the pictures
In 2004, we were getting those AA $235 specials for JFK/POP..........Originally Posted by herbf

Your opinions are not my problem...
Jetblue is cheaper. I never flew with them before. I heard good things about jetblue. Only thing I dont like is flying at 2 am or 6 am. But I may give it a try on the fly back. Its cheaper buying one way tickets for the days I am going. Hey man, when you gotta go you gotta go.
