The Best Home for Mongers in SDQ

ok, let hear it guys. What is the best hotel to stay in? Value, location, amenitities and chica-friendliness all count. I've stayed at Jaragua on trip #1 & #2, Palacio 2 nights and although I had a room at Raizor, I didn't sleep on night 3 of trip #3. If Jaragua was CF (chica-friendly), it would be the best hotel, hands down. Palacio is excellent but too far from the action I like, Jaragua casino and Club Lapsus . Raizor was ok, too bad I didn't get to bag any chicas there.

    The Mecure Hotel
I like the Mecure because it's chica friendly but at night chicas need to produce I.D. to go to your room.
Located on El Conde, the Mecure is a heavy spot to observe chicas and pick up some inexpensive action. The Conde has many places to eat. My favorite is Pizza Hut. Don't forget to try the Chinola drink; it's sold several places on the Conde. You will like it.
The Mecure restaurant and bar is not pricey, plus there is a good cheap restaurant on the opposite side on the hotel.
The Mercure is in walking distance of Malecon and it's a great introduction for a newbie to Santo Domingo.
    Marriott Courtyard
Last year, I got a chance to stay in the Marriott Courtyard; for service and amenities Marriott and Hilton will always win.
My wingman works at Marriott so he was able to lock me in for the employee rate. It is a chica friendly hotel but they must have I.D. The rooms a large and clean and you have free high speed internet in the room and a free access to a PC on the ground floor.
I paid $12.00 for the breakfast buffet. It was good but not worth $12.00 bucks.
The Marriott Courtyard is located on Maximo Gomez Ave, a very busy avenue, but there is a few fast food restaurants and is in walking distance to Malecon

I love the Hilton Hotel. The hotel is only a year old so it is nice, clean, and new.

I got a rate of $105 plus tax.

The hotel is chica-friendly and there is no guest-fee. The girl must show her I.D., and fill out her name and cell phone number.

There is a casino on the second floor but not many girls hang out here.

Internet is open from 9am until 10pm and it is 220 peso per hour.

The swimming pool is open from 9am until 8pm.

The health club is open from 5am until 10pm.

I will post more details in my trip report.

A Jaragua Garden Room cost only $75. I heard you can get a girl in there. If so, I like the pool and location of Jaragua. And it's close to a lot of clubs.

I really dont understand how anyone can go to SDQ and stay at a fuckin hotel for 100 bucks a night!!! Why not stay in Sosua/Cabarete and stay at Casa Linda and get a 2 or 3 bedroom whole house for that with your own private pool!!!
