A two day stay there can't hurt. I have not heard anything else bad about the place, and have heard a few others say they enjoyed the place.
I don't know what happened to Nomad there but I would give it a shot.

Cool thanks! I was kinda rushed getting this trip planned and my 1st choice (black beards) was booked for the 1st 2 nights and my 2nd (the palace) was also booked for those nights. I wanted to stay at a place that you could be open about what you are there for.
I am looking forward to this double vacation I am also taking a vacation from my diet that week after 10 months and 100lbs I need a week off.
I have 1 lat question (for now) Do you know how to find the charity that execpts donations of school suplies? I know it exists I just have had some problems finding it.

Well if you post that question on DR1.com you will get an answer for sure!

A two day stay at the Dolphin cannot hurt much. Listen to Steve avoid John. Some chicas there. They can be very nice. Lock everything up. Make friends with Apolyon they call him Jaime. His name is Apolyon. Haitian guy. Damn good guy. The "Luca of the Dolphin". In fact they are friends. In the morning there is a "coffee clatch crew". Drink some coffee and listen. Hit breakfast at Rockey's or La Roca. John will want to take you to La Roca. He gets a kick back from there. If he offeres you a ride he will expect gas money etc.. He is a third rate scam artist. Talk with James at El Botin or Ted at Rockey's. During the day go by the New York Shark bar and tell Lou you are Don's friend and ask about a discount. No problem. But there prices are so cheap you do not need a discount. If bored. Hit Siempre Sol. Tell Herman you are my friend. He knows every chica on the beach. Take one then or schedule her for later. "She will be on time". No shit!. She will. On the way back hit Shark bar. Walk up to end of beach look for moto-conch guy name Juan (older guy). The best. Take a nap. Take a swim in pool. Eat dinner and then off to the disco's.

I find better girls on the beach during the day then the sharks that hang out at the disco.

But above all listen to your friends. In Sosua we mongers take care of each other.

    Take care,
    Nomad

Apost is correct. Bring stuff for the kids. They have love to learn. But need our help for basic supplies. Apost came down with two suitcases. One was with clothes for him, the other was supplies for the school. He helped alot of children. Let us all do the same. It is not much. Take what you would spend on one chica. And spend it on the children. For school.

Yes I just packed 1 case full of schools supplies it still has some room so I will go to 1 more store and get some more.
Or fit a few presents for chicas or for their kids
(would a chica with a kid appreciate coloring book and crayons for the kid?)
It is something that I think that would be harder to sell so the kid would actualy get it.. gee you would never guess I like kids as long as they are someone elses. So when I am tired of the kid I can go home. ;-)

On my next trip I will probably not bring too many things down so I can just have carry-on luggage. Instead I will sponser a child (or 2) at $50 USD per year. This is done thru the same organization http://www.webdominicana.com/sosuakids-en.html and can be delivered to Barb at the Britannia Pub or you can mail a cheque or Money Order to the Miami address instead. This money pays for the manditory uniform and backpack. I imagine most things can be purchased there and cash is easier for me to carry.

I found it was about split 50/50 about 1/2 of them had thier kids in pop or sosua
and the others had them at "casa de momma" and those where split betwean the capital and santiago (1 haition girl's kids where at porta prince)
Now about the Blue Dolphin I ended up staying for 3 days instead of 2. I liked the place and had a good time there (I Loved the town of Sosua) 1 of the 2 problems I had was the high tech ac in the room I was in would only run on planta it could not run on the crappy unregulated power from the power company. (strange) they moved to me to a different room with a lower tech AC and it was fine. The other complaint I have to agree with Steve on. "That damn curb by the front gate has to go" I know I came in around 3:30 am and the bar was closed so there was not much light and I fell over the thing (my elbow still hurts :-) ) Hell I wasn't even drunk!!! besides those 2 minor problems I leked the place. If they do get a jaqusii installed I will probably stay there longer.
If you do go there watchout for a girl named Memos or Memosa she is slick and good at trying to get more $$ from you but honest in her own way.
(every body pays that much. every body pays up front) No I did not pay what she was asking but she was good at trying to convince me. I did pay somewat up front 1/2 after the 1st shot and 1/2 after the 2nd and I went to sleep I was tired she asked it it was ok if she went out to dance. I paid her and did not expect to see her agin (and did not care by then). I will be diped in shit if she did not come back at 4:30am and stayed untill noon.
I saw her dancing a night latter and when she is dancing she is dancing I saw her turn mongers down because she was there to dance not work then.
She actualy told them to ask her later!!! ( I was there with a friend of hers)
Nice body speaks kreol and french(not the same language) spanish and passible english and is trying to learn German and itilain. watch out she is slick and probably smarter then a lot of mongers.

    Ah yes,

So you met Mimosa. Gorgeous, very nice body. And very good at what she does. She is a true professional. Makes no bones about wanting money. Very honest in her own way. Also one of the wealthier chicas around there. She owns a massage parlor and a beauty salon in Boca Chica. Has a friend in New York that sends her nice clothes. Likes life and has fun. Can be alittle crazy at times. Personally I like her but some are put off by her aggresiveness.

Yes I liked her too. But I only spent 1 night with her because I found I more enjoyed time with her friend Linda. (less of a struggle for control.). I did end up watching "The Last Samurai" with the 2 of them in french with english subtitles on my laptop.

    FnB,

    Hell,
Linda was my first chica in Sosua. I walked in, took a look at that ass and took her to the suite.

She does have a nice ass! She did impress me at the casino. She had a good night at the roulett wheel and when her luck changed she cashed out and saved the money instead of losing what she had won. All in all she is a nice chica that I will probably look up again the next time I am in Sosua.
