I spent 5 days at Hotel Riazor. It’s on the street behind the Jaragua casino.

I want to thank Cheeno for his report and pictures of the hotel and the surrounding area.
$60 per night. Stay away from the rooms with the balcony though. The street noise and constant horn honking was annoying. The hotel has 4 floors with an elevator. There’s about 40 rooms. Mini bars and safes with a key are in all the rooms. There is a $10 key fee though. Chica friendly with no additional charge. A copy of her id is taken. No website. The best is to call for reservations or just show up.

The restaurant next door, Mandolo, was being renovated at the time and this was the source of a lot of the morning noise. Since the Mandolo was closed I missed out on what seemed to be a good observation point for the street traffic and the Jaragua workers coming and going.

    STREET ACTION

There was a good amount of street action on Independecia right in front of the hotel.
The girls started showing up around 11m and it seemed to go on until about 5 in the morning.
There is a bus stop at the corner where the chicas sit and stand while cars pull up all night long
to pick up there dates. I could see the action from my 2rd floor balcony. It must be a well known strip for the locals because I saw numerous Dominicans pull up in their cars throughout the night.

One night after trolling the Jaragua, I picked up one of the chicas that was working the strip. I
walked across the street to the Riazor, she got her id copied, we went and 2,000 pesos later she was out the door.

This feature was one of the reasons why I liked the hotel. There was always a sure thing around.

    CASINO ACTION

I checked out 4 different casinos. The Jaragua. It is located in front of the hotel on the Malecon.
As the casinos go this was the best but that’s not saying a lot here.

Medium chica action with somewhere between 2 and 12 floating around. This is not like Playa
Chiquita or the disco in there. My friend did pickup one chica sitting near the bar area playing slots. 2,500 for st and he saw her twice over 5 days. There were no stunners and not much selection. One chica was asking 4,500 pesos for st and would not budge down from that. As usual she left empty handed at closing. The bar inside the Jaragua is a rip off. 200 pesos for a glass of coke and 200 pesos for a bottle of water that was half frozen.
There’s no cover so I guess that’s how they justify it. The bands that played there were good
    though.

The 3 other casinos that I saw were all on the Malecon. The Hilton, to the right of the Jaragua up the street. 2nd floor casino. Very small with no chica action that I saw. Decent prices at the bar though. The other 2, the Intercontinental and Diamiante both were below par. I saw maybe 2 working chicas in the Diamiante. The locals seem to like the free chicken dinners that the gamblers were getting there though.

    CASA ACTION

The first stop was the Sky House. This place is about a 3 minute walk from Hotel Riazor.
When you walk in there’s about 12 chicas who line up. They expect you to pick one of them right there. They just stand there and smile. After a few seconds if you don’t see one that you like it gets a little uncomfortable. I just shouted chicas bonita, gracias and they seemed to get the hint and went away. You didn’t have time to order a drink before the line up started.

The chicas were of all shapes and sizes.
I stopped there 3 different times to start the night. The drinks are cheaper there than at the Girl’s House 2 or 3 doors away. Most of the chicas mill around waiting for clients on sofas. The earlier that you get there the better chance that you have to get the chica that you want. The times that I went in late, most chicas had already hooked up or were disinterested. Take out was $3,000 for 2
hours or $5,000 until around 9am.

Two or three doors away was the Girl’s House. The same set up as the Sky House.
I stopped by 3 different times and whet back to the hotel twice with 2 different chicas for tln.
In my opinion the chicas there were the best looking of the casas that I visited. The first night I
took Ruby. She was a very affectionate chica who I didn’t see there again the two next two times
that I went back. She did give me her number but I never called.

The other chica that I took from the Girl’s House was on my last night in S.D. I forgot her name but she had torpedos for tities. I was a couple of pesos short for the purchase and I needed to leave and come back to hit an ATM when the chica pointed to behind the bar when I saw that they took Visa & Mastercard. Mileage and a tax deduction, but they did have to hit me with the sales tax. The chica left around nine. She bumed taxi money from me but I told her no mas to her request for a propina. I did have a good time with her and it worked out ok for the last night.

    Casa Teresa.

Late one night after not finding anything decent in the Jaragua, chica casas, or street walkers me and my friend took a taxi drive to Casa Teresa. It was right before 3am when we took a tax.
to Casa Teresa, but the place was closing down. The taxi driver got the manager to bring about 10 chicas out of the club but still behind a security gate. All the chicas did there poses for me and my friend. It was like picking a puppy in the window. The manager couldn’t open up the
gate so I had to negotiate thru the metal bars. My friend passed since he grabbed 2 chicas earlier
    in the day/night.

The chicas name was Pamela. 22 from Jarabaco. We agreed on 3,000 for tln but tln for her was
8am since she had to get back to the casa or she was going to get fined. This was one pain in the ass about Santo Domingo. With the casas involved TLN ended at 9am. After a night of drinking I don’t want to dealt with the taxi shit or propina that early in the morning.

    ZONA COLONIAL

At the Colonial Zone and El Conde the term In Search of Chicas comes into play.
There were definitety chicas around but a small level of spanish was needed to communicate with the chicas and to get them to meet with you later.

It’s a good area to eat and people watch.

Overall Santo Domingo was a great time and a must visit after a couple of Sosua trips.
It’s definitely more expensive with the chicas, but st were around for 1,500. There’s a couple
of beauties in the casas which makes you want to go back.

    The history is cool too.

15-20 minutes depending on traffic and your cab driver....I'm judging from Hotel Mercure and Raizor is not that far from there....on a long shot 30 minutes

Thank you for the report Mags!

I am a little concerned about some of the prices though, you mentioned paying $ 3,000 RD for TLN? Also you were quoted $ 2,500 RD ST and up to $ 5,000 RD for TLN at different places?!? This seems so much higher than Sosua for the most part, and much higher than I usually pay. This isn't the standard is it??

It has never taken me more than ten mimutes to get a taxi from the Riazor to Caribe Tours. It will cost around 150 pesos. Taxis are usually waiting on the side street by the restaurant, cheaper than the one the hotel will call for you.

The buses leave for Sosua on the hour but give yourself a few minutes to get a ticket, it can get very busy there on weekends.

The only city you will get Sosua pricing and Sosua point and click is Sosua.

I love the Colonial Zone in the Capital for it's atmosphere. But it's not really a monger destination. It's good to have 2 or 3 reliables in your phone book and go out for p4p during your downtime.

At least that's what i do.........

No such thing as "standard", and SD is not the streets of So-sewer.......So-sewer is practically "point & click" guaranteed you're gonna get laid even if you mumble faking you know the lingo...as has been pointed out in many reports on ISOC.......

While I've never had to set foot in any of the puta clubs in SD (I aways pull talent off the street),the talent level in SD (IMHO) is a lot different than So-sewer...I draw this conclusion from the pics I've seen on ISOC (same ol', same ol')....

......because SD is so large, I always see NEW (or NEW to me) talent by simply changing my location...ZC, Gazcue, Casinos, University area etc.

Also, Mags indicated his Spanish is limited, which again is a major factor in the Capitol when negotiating trim...it ain't like walkin into McPassions or BBs King and pickin a furburger with fumunda cheese and special sauce for a salida....

I've always negotiated 1500-2000TLN when I played that game in SD, but then I speak Spanish pretty well and have no issues holding a conversation with a girl walking on the street....I admit I currently do the ATF hustle...and have a set plan when I go

If I figured out what I spent per day on my ATFs (dinners, fun and games...regalos etc) I might be over the dreaded 3000DRP mark some trips ....and less on others.....

Always remember, you get what you pay for!

    Santo Domingo was definetly higher.
In Sosua, there's more supply in a smaller area.

I disagree. Boca has the same point and click action and the street prices seem a bit less than Sosua.

I recently returned from Boca. The beach action was dead, but the night action, escpecially on weekends was hopping. The quality and quantity were both excellent.

In Sosua, the better looking disco chicas are asking upwards of $4,000RD for TLN. By the time you negotiate them down to a reasonable price, you know there will be trouble when you get back to the room.

There are several factors which determine how much you pay for punani in Santo Domingo.

    • If your taxi driver comes to the casa with you he will get a cut, thus minimizing your room for negotiation.
    • If you pick up a "guide" the same thing will happen. These guys are not necessary after the first trip.
    • Casa Teresa is a high end brothel and usually sports some of the best looking putas available. If you want to TLN it's best to get there early before the good ones are fucked out (they do on site s/t as well).
    • Almost all the Chicas at Gril House are available for extra curricular TLN when not working there. I've known several from there as "day off" TLN arrangements with no time limit. Sky High, not so much. Most of their Chicas room on site (a few don't) and are watched like inmates.
    • You can pay $2,500RD up to take a Chica out of Lapsus or you can wait until they close and pick her up on Independencia for a $1,500 - $2,000RD TLN. Same Chica, different price.
    • When it's busy you can expect to pay more and get less. When it's quiet you can make a deal. Even with the casas. Especially if they remember you as a good customer.
Every once in awhile I get crazy and want a "9" and I don't give a shit how much it costs. I have paid as much as $4,000RD and as little as $800RD for the same long leg, pretty face, tight ass, large, perky tit, tight punani, GFE, PSE, affectionate, nasty, well mannered, attentive type that I like. I have paid the exact same amounts for funny looking little evil bitches who don't BBBJ and leave early (a couple of times before I got mine) and had the nerve to "demand" propina, taxi fare, etc. The nice ones get called back and treated well, greeted with regalo and sent away with propina. The fucked up ones get the boot.

One of the reasons why I prefer "free range" Chicas over the casas in the capital is because the opportunities abound and the supply is seemingly limitless. Once I calmed down and stopped acting like a kid in a candy shop I found out where they keep the "good stuff" and how not to pay alot for it. I still speak "Idiot Spanish" so it doesn't take a linguist. You just gotta know what you want, even if you gotta point to it.
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Re: Mags in Santo Domingo 6/5-6/10

everything varies from person to person...i dont get qouted these prices i never negotiate up front (kills my fantasy) and i never have a problem with them accepting my 1500-2000 pesos TLN MAX. I also dont have issues or trouble back in the room.
If i have to neg. up front i abort mission and toss them back into the lake anyway...

and the couple times i did have chicas ask for more in the Morning, i gave them a stern talking to!!! and they fell back into there place. Half the battle is standing your GROUND with DR working girls, unless its a casa or salida bar where pricing and time is pre-determined.

guess most things fall into the ole monger cliche' YMMV.
