    Recreational recommendations

As my countdown states I have a few more days before my trip begins. This trip we're renting a car and hope to enjoy much more of the country than we did on our previous trip. I'll be staying in Cabarete and am looking for suggestions regarding places to visit and some recreational things to do while in DR. Any suggestions?

Though I know it's fun I doubt if we partake in Go Carting.

I'll keep that in mind and make sure it's the first recreational activity I partake.

Bring some for the hoes too. They like sweets and they can get some of practice working the lip muscles.

I was just at the Atlanta Aquarium last month and though this show is probably great not really my cup of tea. Thanks for the suggestion though. Anything else?

Jarabacoa is about a 3 hour drive from Sosua, but well worth it if you like outdoor activities.
    -Camping on the beach
    -ATV's
    -whitewater rafting
    -horseback riding
    -hiking to the waterfalls
    -swimming in the rivers
    -SanChocho over an open fire.
I believe I've posted about all of these activities (and a few more) in this thread, (titled: "Another Side of Life")

I think I'll go back in and "unlock" it for you.

How long will you be in the DR for? I head back this Thursday for a few weeks and will probably be camping on my favorite deserted beach the weekend of June 13th (Ryatt and a few others have been there.)

    Enjoy your trip.

They have this in Jarrabaccoa as well, about 3 hours from Sosua.

Yes I went to the website and saw it. I should not have said "it wasn't my cup of tea" as shows like this are. My trip includes 2 to 5 other guys and I doubt if we'll all agree to see a show like this while on vacation. If it were a family trip or if I were with a chica then yes.

Thanks for the reminder. I went through this huge thread about a month ago but forgot about it. I'll quickly scan through it again. I fly into POP this Thursday (4th) and will be leaving on the 11th. I think we'll look to get down there on Monday.
