hey whats up everyone. Im new here and first timer going to DR. I originally had alot of questions but now all are answered due to this great site. I am going with 3 friends who booked rooms for us at the Village Chessa. But after some research here it seems New Garden is the place to be. Can anyone from past experience let me know if Village Chessa is worth it or should I push them harder for New Garden. Obviously New Garden is better but will we still have a good time at Chessa? I have stayed at the Villa Chessa has a nice pool girl friendly it a good 15 minute walk to town dont use the web site to book it cheeper to get a price by calling 1 809 571 3412 I now stay at the New Garden

That is the ISOC rate. The regular rate is higher.

trip change as of tonight I will be extending my trip until the 22nd now and will be staying in Sousa for 4 days and then head out to Santiago for the rest of the trip. Although im as white as can be,I speak Fluent Spanish. But I was still worried about going to Santiago with my friends who don't speak Spanish at all. None of us have even been to Santiago so we wouldn't know where to go and most importantly Where NOT to go. But today one of my good friends who's from Santiago DR who originally couldn't make it, said today he could not let me go to DR for my first time with out him lol so he booked his flight. He has a house over there so the hotel is not a problem. All I know is I will take alot of pictures and drink alot of beer
