I was a newbie in Sosua from tues. 3/11 to mon. 3/18. did not rent a scooter till sat. for the fist 4 days i walked everywhere. to Passions. Shark bar. Did not want to ride on motoconch. i have been riding motorcycles for 39 yrs. but hate to ride on back. ride a Harley but am a wuss when it comes to riding on the back of a bike (bitch seat] then came friday night. meet a chica at bar. after a bunch on beers and shots of tequila, we decided to go to casino. walked out of bar and she jumped on motoconch. without hesitating i jumped on behind her. away we went, holding on to her with my left arm, a bottle of beer in my right hand, and swaping spit on the way to casino. still don't like to ride on back, but if i got killed or hurt what a way to go. mix alcohol and pussy and us guys do anything

I got on one once. In the daytime and sober. Maybe that was the problem.

btw, the only time i rode on a moto in all my trips to the DR, was when the police detained me and impounded the rental car on the way to the AMED SUB-STATION up the hill ...:eek:

I usually rent a car, but after the last trip when i was lucky that i did not seriously injure the 2 guys i hit on a moto, and the horror stories I've heard about insurance stuff, I may start with motos, taxis and walking a bit more..

i too was newbie with royboy and jimbo that week. i've been riding offroad since i was 13. still, i never saw such maniacal riders as in sosua. too scared to get on a conch, so i rented my own with the group. i may have taken some chances, but on my last nite i got 2 chicas (erica and emily) on the back of my scooter at 2am and rode them home to their dirt road apt. near passions. polite fool me said goodnite and goodbye, even gave emily an email address...she still has not written. in the am before our flight, i found myself riding by their place wishing they would wake up. by the way, jimbo, i used 'upload center' and posted one hot pic for sultan's cereal article and have never seen it on the site. where the f did it go?

since the car had some misc dings when i rented it, and i returned it in POP but rented in STI, I was never charged for the damages, as when they asked me about it,
I siad look at the check out sheet, there where dings noted on all sides of the car :eek:
