someone told me that a black guy had a bar and massage spot like passions on the strip and it turned out he was talking about cuba libre bar about a block past passions. the owner was interviewing talent when i got there and said he had some renovations to do before he was officially open. the location is cool but i told him i dont care if he got dirt floors so focus on getting good chicas rather than decorating. there was one smoking chick there but he said she was his and off limits. by my next trip he should be open for business.

If you are in town Cuba Libre Bar has been selling the cuba libre drink (rum and coke) for 45 RD, all hours of the day, not just happy hour. He has been doing this for awhile at least the last two weeks. I think it is a great idea selling them for that price about ($1.30 US), it is a good promo because of the name of the bar, he should always keep the cuba libres lower than the rest of the competition to promote the name of the bar. So if you pass through and I am there the next cubre libre is on me. That is because I am a cheap bastard and can afford $1.30 for a fellow monger. lol:D .

Hempstead found out where the pics are look at CJ's virgin report and you can see Fred's new hires. Haven't been with them yet and may not, a little akward for me, because I spend a lot of time there and don't want things being confused over there because of me. Had a couple of his girls in the past and tell you the truth, I felt a little akward at times, not because of them or anybody else just myself. With all due respect I wasn't trying to discredit Passion's!!! I was only responding to another person's post, and I met NO HARM, but I will apologize none the less. Since you are a member and read the threads you should be aware that many times in a thread the responses sometimes get off the original idea of that thread. Before it gets back to the original idea, that is what happened in that case. I was only responding to an inside joke between myself and OM. I would never try to discredit Passion's or any other place in the Dominican Republic. And you know that!

Why would I try to discredit a place that I spend so much time and dollars in; meaning Passion's. I have many times promoted Passions and have personally brought people down there with me! But since you got offended I again apologize. My bad!

To set the record straight, Cuba Libre Bar is primarily that a bar, a good place to chill and enjoy a drink with friends. The price is right again where can you get a cuba libre for 45 rd. Actually his main thing is Karaoke, that is what he enjoys doing and it's a fun thing to do after a few drinks. He is not and I repeat not trying to compete with Passions or any other place he is just a good guy trying to do his thing.

He did install the massage tables but that was done really for his own enjoyment, I personally knows that he sets up appointments with Kika for her to come down and give him his massage at his own place. He opens that up for anybody else that wants to do that also. The girls are independent contractors, if you will, and they are free to do what they choose to do. He doesn't tell them that they have to do anything, or be with anyone. They are allowed to be with whom they choose to be with. If they don't wish to be with a patron they don't have too. I myself have been turned down by a girl there, which was her right. It had nothing to do with Fred the girl didn't want to be with me that night. Oh well! I had spent time with her on other occasions but that night she didn't want me. I'm a big boy so it wasn't that big of a deal. Fred doesn't promote the massage aspects, because that is not his primary thing and the girls don't have to do it. However if they like you and want to make a few extra dollars that is on them. They have free choice.

The girls will go out with a customer and leave the bar for a tln again that is on the girl, if she wants to spend the night with you she can, he doesn't stop them, but it is always their choice. If you choose to do that there is no set price that is up to them and you and your negotiating expertise. He doesn't force them or set prices. Of course most times as long as your'e not a complete asshole and seem like a decent guy they will go. After all a girl gotta eat. This goes for most bars in Sosua, the bartenders do see customers outside of their place of employment, viva Sosua. The girls that work there are bartenders, not masseuses or take out girls, But he doesn't stop them if they choose to leave with a customer. It is just an alternative place, with a different atmosphere.

Just passed by cuba libre to chew the fat with Fred and was presently surprised he hired a new girl her name I think is Mariella and she is very pretty as the other girls are. Tonight was her first night, so I guess he has to see how she works out. But by the looks of her she will be first rate. I asked if he planned to hire any others and he said no that five, which is what he has now is his limit for bartenders. I would post a picture but as some of you know, my camera is all fucked up, and unless I find a place I trust down here it will have to wait to get fixed until when I get back to the states.

He doesn't open until about 6:00 pm. If you get there around 6:30 pm he should be up and running. He is closed on Sundays. During the week he closes around 1:00 am and on Fri and Sat. around 2:00 am. If it is a slow night sometimes he closes a little early.

it is nothing like passions both have thier features which are very different,, I like both,,,, i stop at cuba Libra and enjoy some nice laid back times and then walk down the street a block and get wild

Okay, my first post here, but before you all go nuts, I have 100's on another site and go to the D.R. like a circus freak so I am one of you.

Fred is a great guy, I met him on Thanksgiving eve, and he invited me to an off the hook thanksgiving party. The think that struck me most was Fred's handle on everything. The girls did what he said.

I had a big laugh because a street vendor came by and sold them all that nasty seafood in a plastic cup, and they came to him and wanted some beer. He asked them to take off their panties, give them to him, and show me, and my wingman, their "package". After protest, he told them we were his clients and nothing is for free, towhich one actually did want a beer.

Unfortunately, we were unaware of the extra rooms in back, but I suspected as much. The place is very different from LaPassions and both have their place. I really like Peter for much the same reasons though, they both manage to keep the girls in line or they're out.

Fred has a nice seemingly quiet small time get a quick drink bar with a much less overt (as I said, I had no clue there was P4P there) than LaPassions.

Does anybody know what the girls were asking for a massage completo?

Again it is not a daytime place, usually doesn't even open until 6:30pm, and at that price would i salida a girl for st, of course not, it would be for tln, so when all is said and done is it really that much more expensive that what you end up paying some of these Classicos chicas? You go to disco (buy drinks) and stay until 2 maybe 3 and its back to hotel for some action, and then when they wake up a little more, but as many know, however late they stay at disco they are often up early wanting to take care of businness so they can go home ad sleep for awhile in their own casa. I often skip the disco and have a few drinks and chill, hell when feeling good i can get 2 in before i crash out and one in the morning, so i am getting 3 nuts in before she leaves,so for me it can be bargain, but now i understand everybodies style is different and i never begin to advise people on how to spend their vacation, just offering another perspective

I stumbled on that option two years back and thought it was great. After a few weeks I decided it was not so great and changed back to oldest first.

Jenny and Jaszmine are from La Vega, so she is still probably still living with Jasamine and her family in Montellano. Unless somebody has wifed up with her. There used to be one guy from New Jersey that had a big thing for Jenny and used to come down every 6 weeks or so, I know he was trying to get her to quit the bar so he could have her all for himself, maybe that is what happened.

Fred had a pretty good crowd there. And the food was delicious. Real "Memphis style" BBQ......................................

...dry rubbed ribs and beer can chicken.

The only comment is that the food is served more as an "tasting" appetizer than a meal:
Ribs served one at a time in 2 inch pieces.
Chicken "pulled" off the bone and served on White Castle style small buns with sauce.
And corn on the cob cut into one inch pieces.

So after we had our "tasting" both Tony and myself had to go for pizza to fill our stomachs!
Also bumped into Jimbo there with a few of his friends.

But as I said, it was delicious, and I'll try out his BBQ stand when it opens on the beach in Casita # 109.

Assuming the gentleman at the grill is "Big D", I see where he got his name from. I think he has sampled his own cooking, so I know it must be good. Did he give you an expected date for his opening on the beach, would love to taste some of the southern BBQ.

"D" would probably do well just to offer full meals for a price as a regular feature...or maybe that's in the works when he gets his shop up and running.

I'm sure once word of mouth spreads - as it is now - Wednesday's at Fred's will be a nice starting off point: blues, Southern style chicken & ribs, karaoke & some cute chicas - makes for a good warmup before hitting the main part of the strip.
