Starting Dec. 15th 2006 Delta will offer non stop directly to Puerto Plata.

Great for Gdogg and myself! He lives there and my family is there so when I travel to NY via Atlanta I can stay three days there and visit for no extra charge!

One thing about booking a flight on SkyMiles is that the fare don't mean shit to me! Yeah I like it! I go to Atlanta for 3 days and then to NY and Back to Atlanta for 2 days and back to the DR!

The prices out of Atlanta are RIDICULOUS! What the F is going on? Please believe I appreciate the direct to POP in December, but not for $800!! I cannot get a flight for under $700 right now. I used to be happy with $570 from ATL with a stop in Miami.

I think the prices will come down. It will be cool to bypass the Miami layover, even though I've enjoyed practicing my spanish during the layover.
