Five million electoral ballots were delivered to the Central Electoral Board (JCE) warehouse yesterday. The ballots, which will be used in the May 16 midterm elections, will begin to be distributed across the country today together with other electoral materials and supplies. According to a report in Diario Libre, the ballots were printed by Editora Corripio and Editora Del Caribe. Over 12 million ballots in total have been printed. The rest will be delivered to the JCE today. Yesterday was the deadline for the JCE to choose and appoint the staff who will work at the electoral stations on 16 May.
