[DR1] Ministry awards 1,300 scholarships

The Ministry of Youth Affairs (SEJ) has awarded 1,300 scholarships to young people from low-income families towards technical courses and other specialized studies. The scholarships will benefit students from the eastern provinces of Hato Mayor, El Seybo, La Romana and La Altagracia. El Caribe reports that the scholarships were delivered by Youth Minister Manuel Crespo together with other government officials during a visit to the four provinces.
