Hi,
I am a newbie here....looking to go to DR the last week of July (7/26 or 7/27 for 4 nights). I am planning on flying to POP, and would like to stay at an all-inclusive beach front resort while there (if at all possible).
I have tried to find some information on this site re which resorts are chica-friendly within either Puerto Plata or Sosua; however, I have not been able to find that.
Can anyone help this newbie with some recommendations as to which resort(s) are chica friendly (bring chicas as I wish).
Also, it would be super to hang out with some fellow mongers while there (first round on me). Thanks!

If you read a few trip reports you would already know which. Just got to read some, maybe 3-5 hours of reading.

I dont recall a thread yet where a monger stayed at a all inclusive resort and was able to bring back his chica legally? Good luck.

Want to mess with chicas? Hotel, condo, casas or the back seat of a car is the way to go. Read up on those. Give up the resort thing, too much hastle. They are boring anyhow.

Hi Robot

We could better help you if you explained exactly why you propose to stay in an all-inclusive resort? Is it for economy? I know that from the UK, for example, you can book a week's holiday (flight, hotel and meals) for much the same price as a flight only. Crazy, but true!

Or is because you are bit nervous of jumping in the deep end on your own? That is unnecessary, but if it is your first trip totally understandable. In that case I would recommend staying at Dominican Billy's place in Puerto Plata. Billy will only let you get into the right kind of trouble. :)

More briefly, are you mainly looking for a normal resort holiday but hoping for the odd "adventure" or three, or are you mainly coming to fuck chicas? If the latter, then stay away from AIs.

Coconut Palms Resort in Caberete. Its not right on the ocean, but is close. Nice resort with all-inclusive options.

Thanks Weyland and TPDgo!
Weylalnd, yes, this is my first trip to DR; however, I've been to Costa Rica a few times. You are correct that I'm a little nervous about being in DR for the first time. I want to enjoy the beach and the resort during the day, and like to have some chica's at night (TLN's perhaps). I have heard about New Garden and a few others; however, they don't appear to be as nice as some of the other resorts that they have. I was just hoping that there would be some nice resorts that would accept chica's (even for a small fee). Thanks!

Well, the all-inclusives will allow you to bring in a chica, just NOT for a small fee! If you are dead set on an AI, I guess TPDog's recommendation of Coconut Palms Resort in Cabarete is decent (I've never stayed there myself). Just be warned, Cabarete is a decent trek from Sosua, you WILL need a car/taxi to get back and forth. Also, alot more Europeans in Cabarete... almost got into an altercation with a Brit and his mates in a karaoke bar down on the beach my last trip. You will run into the "frat-boy" mentality ALOT in Cabarete. And chica-hunting isn't as point-n-click as it is in Sosua.

I would recommend just staying at the New Garden, I'm sure there will be someone around to show you Sosua, the beach is a short walk away and chicas are plentiful!

I agree New Garden is the place to stay and if you get a new room with a jacuzzi tub they are nicer than most AIs and only a month old. Just watch the tub there is no floor drain and also the bed will walk across the room after some good fucking. Have fun!:corky::corky::corky:

I talked to a guy in the casino that was staying at Sosua by the Bay which is a very nice AI resort right on Sosua bay. he just booked it after a search on line. It is a beautiful resort, but he said if you wanted to bring a chica back that it cost 50 US dollars to do that.

I took their little tour there and heard their sales pitch about buying into their program to become a member. Of course in their pitch they said bringing back chicas is no problem and their is no fee for overnight guests. I dont know if that is just for "members" or if it was just a bs sales pitch. They said they are going to have a helicopter pad available on top of the new building where the casino is. They claim that they will shuttle you back and forth over the DR to their other resorts if you are a member.

Almost all the AI have a guest fee that run between 30-100 bucks, if you wife up with 2-3 chicks for the week you are go to go, but if you like to run thru 5-10 chicas for the week, then it can get expensive. You should go to Dominican Billys condos, but for AI, Sosua by the sea is very nice. Ask as if you want to join the VIP club and they will probably waive the fees the first couple of times.

I recommend HarborView Condos if you're staying in Puerto Plata.
The price is great, there's very tasty and safe cuisine, and most of all, DominicanBilly is full of sage advise. He'll pick you up at the airport, steer you right, tell you how to keep out of trouble, and best of all, show you where to get into that good bit of trouble we all go to the D.R. to find.

Or, if you're a first-time monger and really want it all served up on a plate, then try Cristal's Mustang Ranch Resort. They have some nice suites now, a really good menu and include access to the Cristal's girls. It's the only all-inclusive that is chica-friendly...in fact it includes your choice of one or two Cristal's chicas per day depending upon the package you select.
