Seniors at Huntsville High School were looking for a way to leave their legacy. A traditional prank but, this time nobody is laughing.
And those students, as many as ten of them, could face some serious punishment.
The students allegedly helped sneak a homeless man inside the school through a locked door.
Officials say they had the man take off all his clothes and stand in the hallway while students were changing classes Thursday morning.
We're told they told him they'd give him things like food and water if he helped them pull the prank.
School administrators are still sorting all of the details: how many kids, which ones, and most importantly why.
'I'm sorry they used bad judgment for what they thought was a good high school prank. It could result in some serious consequences for people involved,' says School Superintendent Dr. Ann Roy Moore."
