Hey Gents,

I am coming to Santa domingo at the end of September for 4 days. Please tell me the best place to stay for a first timer, with safety and access to ladies in mind.

I am a Costa Rica veteran, but wanted to try someplace new.

Thanks.

Hello skyhooks

Do you have a price range? Also, will you be walking or taking a cab?

If you can answer these questions, then I can give you a better answer.

For example, the Marriott ($69 USD plus 26% tax: weekend specials) is located near the U.S. Embassy and college campuses. But it is around a 15-minute walk from the casas.

On the other hand, the Raizor is 2,000 pesos per night and is near the casas, casinos, and freelancers.

Many guys have a 10 page list of questions. If they read 5 trip reports they will then have less than a page of questions. We take the time to write these detailed reports.
