Blackbeards or Sosua for first time monger

So Guys. First of all, Thanks for all of the good information on this site. It really helps. So Im going to fly over to POP August 27th thru Sept. 1st. I go to the DR for business, but this is my first time going for toto. I was thinking of just going to BB's to get my "feet wet" so to speak as I do not want any hassle the first time out, but it seems like Sosua is the place to go from what I've read here. I will be going alone, my spanish is Ok, enough to get around with and hold very basic slow conversation. Im interested to what the Pro's have to say about where a first timer should go. Thanks!

I've been to BB's a five times already and I still love it. Its going to depend on what you are looking for. If you want a laid back point and click experience with little to no drama, then BB's is the place. If you are looking to go and party hitting various clubs then sosua is more of what you are looking for. I personally look for a nice relaxing time, when I want a little more variety I take a cab over to sosua spend a few hours and return, usually getting my fill. BBs' offers a nice relax setting great for newbies and like I said point and click. Sosua has large volume of chicas to choose from, while BB's selection is limited compared to Sosua I dont think you will be disappointed you will always found something. If you dont, you can always go out to the Casino's to find something or head over to Sosua. Outiside chicas are allowed to be brought in as long as have ID or haven't been previously banned. As I walked around the area of BB's Ive met some chicas that were available, but never partaken in any as I was always satisfied with what BBs had, but dont expect to go outside of BBs hotel to meet chicas, it not that type of area.

Step 2. Go to BB's
Chill out by the pool, drink, fuck a few hoes. Meet other cool mongers, or cool chicas, go off site to eat, nice places in POP.

By this time you will be relaxed and have a nice vibe going, find a cool wingman, hit Sosua Beach in the morning, have lunch on the beach, find a nice chica or chicas on the beach, to back to BB's fuck them, take a nap get up and get ready to hit the clubs in Sosua at night.

By this time you will realize what suits you best.

By day 3, hit Cristals or one of those all Dominican Clubs with a BB chick, there safe and won't mind you picking up another chica to bring back.

Maybe it's just me but isn't the Sosua strip after 4pm a point and click. I mean I never had a problem getting a girl that was solo and not attached. Even when they had to do something that moment it wasn't hard to get her to meet me later.


I would chose Sosua because it's have more variety than BBs it's
gringo friendly everything you need is on the strip and if I'm not mistaken motos are still 20 pesos

Thanks for the insight guys. I do want a no bullshit experience. I get enough drama from the chicas here on Provo. I believe BB's to start, and I definately want to be there saturday for the bikini contest although I do have a concern about the limited lineup. I do like eastcoastallstars idea of a fine time. Camera for sure guys. BTW, My camera does video as well, and I do have a youtube channel. Ill see what I can get without pissin them off too bad!!

I would suggest going to Sosua. You will have everything you need at your finger tips and not have to worry about renting a car to drive all over the place. Their are plenty of nice places to eat in Sosua and great places to relax. You can hit Passions, Cubre Libra bar, Cigar bar, beach, discos , Shark Bar, multiple other bars, M&M MASSAGE (you gotta get a massage from here) etc. The amount of chicas you will see in Sosua is (i would guess) at least 80 -1 in the evening compared to Black Beards.

Also you can stay at the New Garden which is only a few blocks from EVERYTHING that you will need. There are also a few other hotels that keep you in the center of everything so you have many options.

The few times I have been to Black Beards I have wanted to leave in about 30 minutes. The disco is pretty small and I do not enjoy the closed in feel with only a limited selection of chicas. Additionally, since it is slow season the number of QUALITY girls at blackbeards could be limited and guys will wife-up the top 2-3 leaving the average looking girls for everyone else.

And as much as guys talk about sharing. Trust me, many guys get very defensive about the girl they are paying (sharing is thrown out the window).

I have to agree with Moshy on that point of mongers wifeing up with chicas for a long time, but people come and go. If you see something you like just let her know either in person or thru Charo ( mamasan) and that chica will be at your side as soon as she can get there. Some of theses mongers actually believe theses chicas are standing by waiting around for them while they are doing something else.. I've actually seen chicas leave one room in the morning after a TLN walk down the stairs and go to the next room, for a early one LOL.

And that is the problem J. I Have been reading the posts and looking over the boards. You guys have such a damn good time wherever you go at least from all of the posts I have read, that I couldn't decide. I dont want any hassle considering I am going alone, but the thought of being stuck with a limited lineup because some cheesdicks have wifed up with the decent looking puta's doesn't interest me. Moshy2k's post was a big help. Ive got my reservations for sky king, and have been in contact with Wilfred over at the NG. Thanks for all the posts guys. Trip report when I return.

Lord knows I've been to both more times than anyone else here, and I still can't decide which is the best, although at my age, I lean towards BB more and more.

If you want a quiet, laidback, and relaxing vacation, then Blackbeards is the place.

There is nothing better than sitting in a lounge chair by the pool, getting a manicure and pedicure, checking out the chicks before heading off to the jacuzzi with two or three, knowing that as soon as they hit the water, the bikinis will be off.

For the nightlovers, Sosua is it. Hit the discos, check out the girls, dance your ass off, and watch the circus. Entertaining, to say the least.

You have a MUCH better chance of meeting a guy (or 20) that you would enjoy hanging with in Sosua and the New Garden is the PERFECT place to start. (so long as the hammers have been banned)

Don't underestimate the importance of having a wing-man to head to the beach with or go eat some eggs with . . . your dick gets worn out pretty quick on that island.

There is no need for any one of those clubs. It is very simple to find a chica in the DR....if you are uncomfortable with the Sosua scene then go to Blackbeards to start....pick out a chica....have fun. Once you are comfortable go to Sosua and give it a shot. Simple....keep it simple....relax....it is very easy to do a BB.
These agencies you are talking about take more of your money than the girls do. :mad:

Sosua is better much more of a choice of women and restaurants. Much better tasting food and price of food. Better atmosphere and more things to do. Beach is much more beautiful and has bars and restaurants on it. Huge supermarket that has everything. Lots of discos to go to an night to find chicas and many different cheap drinks. THe food and drinks at BB's is a little too expensive. make sure you rent a condo or hotelroom that has a safe.

absolutely must agree with the rest if you are serious about giving that kind of money to agencies you will waste it. book a hotel in sosua that is chica friendly or condos that are close to the beach and you wont need car and if you have 2 eyes that work you can find chicas without trying at the beach, restaurants around town, and at night at all of the discos on calle pedro clisante. also there is passions although they charge a salida or exit fee its worth a shot at least once. i think you will find it more fun part of the fun is talking to meeting and finding ones you like the best. Ive done the BB and other similar things and still prefer sosua however, if you want to spend a good deal more money just to be able to be confined to one spot go with BB's but it will cost you $30 to take a taxi outside to go anywhere.
