The Dominican Republic is ranked 10th on the Latin Business Index, just published by the Latin Business Chronicle. The index looks at five key indicators: macro environment, globalization & competitiveness, business environment, technical level and political environment. Chile tops four out of five categories. But the DR is ranked third in globalization and competitiveness category, behind Panama and Costa Rica.
