Recently Aura Celeste Fernandez signed an agreement with the Dominican Foundation for the Blind, represented by its president Jose Manuel Paulino to train 10 blind people to become prosecutors. A group of 22 graduate blind lawyers will be chosen, for ten places on the course. Fernandez is representing the Attorney General's office where she is in charge of the National Prosecutor School (Escuela Nacional del Ministerio Publico). The Dominican Foundation for the Blind has committed itself to transcribing all the teaching materials that will be used in the lawyers' training into audio or Braille.
