According to a dr1.com news (oct. 14th edition) titled "Juvenile prostitution a problem in the Cibao" the Santiago club "Casa Bianca" was closed by authorities (DA).
This article (no more available w/o subscription) said a pornographic internet site was discovered which featured 500+ nude girls from this suburb of STI, many of which under age. Since the existence of this site is publically known many chicas are obliged to stay at home b/c they are so much ashamed. This article said also that the "infamous Casa Blanca" was closed by authorities. The link between the two affairs is unclear, but reading it, I felt like it was an attempt to cope with Cibao people's angriness at prostitution.

Any opinion ?

Its all politics plain and simple.

I have been mongering in DR for many years and there are and I believe always will be girls selling their bodies for money...

Now whether or not the chicas are of the legal age is another matter entirely...however I believe that the new administration is putting its best foot forward to illustrate that child prostitution will not be tolerated.

Will they be able to stamp it out.

NO.

There will always be some family with a pretty daughter that in times of dire need will be "rented" to a individual of questionable character.

Should Dominician be angry at sex tourist...This is a hard one, aside from the fact that I am a sex tourist...it is simply supply and demand.

If there was not a market for pussy in DR...I believe most mongers would be in Brazil or Costa Rica to get their Latina pussy fix.

My closing statement is that if the chica doesn't have a cedula (ID) then don't fuck with the pussy.

This is a very poor country and LE is just itching to extort enormous amounts of cash from the unlucky "Joey Buttafucio".

Here here!

If prostitution as we know it were to cease in D.R. (underage and otherwise), lots of families would starve to death. Of course Leonel would be the last one to feel the effects of a "crack-down", but it would make him mighty unpopular with the general populace, not to mention all the other economic stressors those poor devils have to face everyday.

I'd go so far as to say there is NO WAY any politico could shut down the pussy business in D.R. anyway...maybe a brief show of "policing" to gain some political headway in negotiations for economic support (read: begging for dollars) from other countries (i.e. U.S.A.)...but, since it's such a well established part of the culture, there is no practical way to eradicate it without "shooting themselves" in the foot economically.

No mater how you slice it, it's a thirld world country. Always will be. The peso is going up and the pussy is comming out!

Viva Leonel! LOL
