Hey guys

MrHappy and I checked out Baby Dolls Nightclub.

The club had its grand opening on Sept 11th of this year. But I had to leave the DR before the grand opening. :(

MrHappy had the honor of being the very first person to step into this place. I was the second. :D

I had the honor to be the very first person to use the bathroom and flush the toilet.

The owner said that he plans to charge 3,000 for an hour. For TLN, he has not decided yet.

We did not see any girls because the place was not officially open.

The owner has fixed up the place real nice. It has a very clean and sharp look. Unfortunately, he did not allow me to take pictures of the place.

This place is located right next to Foxy's.

If they can keep the theme like the name seems to suggest , they will do really really well. There is a LOT in a name, but you have to be able to back it up when the customer walks through the door. Appantly you were impressed, hopefully the Girls will be just as impressive .
These new clubs seem to part of a WAVE of NEW HIGHER END clubs taking over the night scene in SD. The old places will really struggle to keep up. Little things like a nice new bar,Lighting, nice jukebox, and comfy couches mean a lot for the spoiled crowd from NYC (& Boston):p .

EXACTLY jd426!!!

There seems to be a trend in Santo Domingo--new higher end establishments.

I have a feeling that this place (like Foxy's) has serious talent. The owner of this place has also invested a lot of money.

As you guys know, a lot of rich mongerers visit Santo Domingo. Money is not an issue to these guys. I have met a lot of them at the V.I.P room at the Majestic casino in the Hilton Hotel.

These guys will easily spend at least $500 USD on drinks alone and pick up a hottie or two or even three.

During my trip, I was playing Roulette (I was betting $300 USD per spin). These motherfuckers were gambling $2,500 per spin. :eek2:

Cheeno, thanks for the info. It's nice to see that they are opening up more night clubs in the Capital. Hopefully, they are fashioned in the Lapsius mode.

I'm not sure how many of clubs can actually be sucessful. I was in Lapsius the weekend of September 6th, and it was empty. Plenty of chicas, good show, no clients.

Hey Cuba Libre

It was also dead when I went to Santo Domingo (this week).

In terms of competition, The Doll's House is going to get its ass whipped by Foxy's.

And casas such as Tabu, Junior's Bar, and Aurora really need to just give up. lol
