Hey guys

I stayed one night at Melia Santo Domingo.

This hotel is not guest friendly. You need to register the girl while checking in.

I prefer the Courtyard Mariott over this hotel.

I find the Melia Santo Domingo to be just decent.

I paid $109 plus 26%.

The only thing I like about this hotel is its swimming pool

Cheeno,
Thanks for the pics and info. It will come in handy! The water in the background looks pretty dirty. I'm guessing from rain. This may be a little off topic but I'm curious if you observed any hurricane damage?

Hello Young Hero

You are very welcome.

I did not observe any hurricane damage. It just rained a lot in the Santo Domingo area. Nothing too serious.
