Hey guys

If you guys have time, I recommend that you visit Zona Colonial.

They have two nice museums (which I will post shortly) as well as many very nice restaurants.

This area is around a 10-minute walk from El Conde.

I highly recommend that you visit this area.

I don't know if you went by now but try to guage how busy the day is. I cannot remember why it wasn't busy when I went but I got an excellent tour. It included some behind the velvet rope stuff of the museum and a walking tour that left us tired! He took us around the immediate area and gave some interesting info about the history. He said because it wasn't busy he could show us more.

The guide was small to medium build and dark complected (I am describing him because he was one of three guys at the time and I don't know if the other guys are as friendly)that spoke both English and Spanish so my chica du jour and I could understand. It ended at a small cigar spot that I forgot the name but if I find the business card I will post it. I gave him about 10 dollars for a tour that was worth more but that was what I had at the time and he was pleased.
