[DR1] South Korea wants stronger ties

The government of South Korea wants to cooperate with the DR in the areas of accounting and control of the state's resources. The president of the Republic of Korea's Auditing and Inspection Council, Jeon Yun-Churl, is in the DR with that purpose. Yun-Churl, who is the third most important official in South Korea, held a meeting yesterday with all the members of the DR General Accounting Department whose president Maximo Castillo, informed that Yun-Churl was sent by the President of South Korea, Roh Moo-Hyun, who is also interested in the exchange of knowledge with the DR in the spheres of economic and social policies. This is the first time that a high-level representative of this category visits from South Korea, according to a report by Diario Libre.
