WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Posing for photos dressed only in a bikini caused a lot of controversy for a Florida high school teacher, but it won't cost her her job.
Word of online photos featuring first-year social studies teacher Erica Chevillar spread among students and staff at the school in West Boca Raton, Fla.
The 25-year-old said she posed for the photos before becoming a teacher. They are featured on a Web site run by a company called the USA National Bikini Team.
After a review, the school district ruled Thursday not to discipline her. Officials said she didn't violate any school rules or laws.
The ruling may not matter. Chevillar said she's quitting her teaching job but plans to continue modeling.
