After a 4 hour ride on a bus from the north coast to the south coast I was well rested and ready to put the Pimp hand down on these hoes. Due to the fact he planned his trip late he was unable to stay at the Palace, and stayed down the street at the Europa. From the time I stepped out of the cab the hunt was on. Meet John man he was cool as hell. When I got there he had just put his foot in the ass of some lazy chic and had to hire new help for the rooms. He wanted to make sure the room was clean for me, and all I cared was that the room had a bed and a roof. I meet first with Yahaira she meet me at the door and was nice enough to help me unpack my bags. She asked me if I wanted her to get me a drink and I said no I wanted her to have one with me so we sat at the pool and talked. I had heard some mixed reviews about her so I wanted to get a feel of her. After a long ride I really wanted some food so me and my new friend D head off for Mori mai the food was great. The Owner has worked out a deal so the lobster is now cheaper also if you stay at the palace you get a 10% discount. As I returned to the palace Yahaira asked where did you go I have waited for you her friend had left and she really had waited for me. Poor girl she had not got the Memo from Boca Chica yet I guess I came to bring the PAIN BITCH! No I usually don’t choose the really skinny girls because I really hate to hurt them. But she was so cute I just said, come on your funeral. Man this little chica got one tight as Pussy she was so cool we talked for a bit and I asked her if she could give me a second to drain the snake I walk out of the bathroom and she was butt ass naked on the bed. I heard a lot of 50 when I was in Sosua in January and rap in general. I know others may feel differently, but for me its a turn off. I could listen to an occasional Fat Joe, but I prefer to hear the local stuff in the DR.

Its all good Maylay. I grew up listening to Boogie Down Productions, Tribe Called Quest, X-Clan, Kool Moe Dee, Das Effects, Rakim, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Wu Tang, etc.
When I'm in the DR I don't give a fuck about what is going on in the USA so none of these rappers can do shit for me. If I'm gonna go somewhere where they will have American music as well as Dominican music, I prefer to hear a mix of R&B, club, top 40 and rap.
I've noticed Dominicanas in places like Santiago and Santo Domingo that don't like Bachata. To me Bachata is the music of the people, in the same way Rap music was 20 years ago. That shit is romantic as hell when the lights are dark and you got a fine chica in your arms singing to you as well.

well i like to listen to a little bit of everything when i'm there, but some of tha bachata and salsa can drive me crazy...i bring cd's with me, mainly of rap and i give it to the guy at the domino bar and he plays it and after 3 or 4 songs he switches it back up

Tru, When in DR their music comes 1st and plus the people there could care less about our hip hop( i say hip hop not nelly and dukey south) and we could care less abou their music.
Some of those beats are annoying though(dr music) sounds like some body is using pots and pans as instruments.
Papi, All that stuff you mentioned was just an example of how real shit was on TV in the 80's now you have these homo thugs, country time hillbilies and fake gangstas allover tv with this garbage. The reason is because the video stations and radio are getting illegal pay offs to play this garbage and the real hip hop is being ignored. So the cats that are doing it for the love of the art are being slighted because of payolla.

I like all hip hop. Been listening to it since i was a little bastard. I listen to the old and the new. I can admit, there is a lot of garbage out there. I barely buy whole albums, mostly mix cd's since they basically got all the songs I want anyway. But I can't front like my ass don't be dancing to that shit at the club. I don't know how Lil Jon is caking up off of him just yelling one liners, but you can't front on the beats. Bitches be dropping it like it's hot, booty clapping.
