I stayed two nights at the Hilton Hotel.

In my opinion, the Hilton is the very best hotel in Santo Domingo. But it is the most expensive. lol

The Hilton has special weekend (Saturday and Sunday) rates ($109 USD plus 26% tax).

But from Monday to Friday, expect to pay a minimum of $189 USD plus 26% tax.

There is a $30 USD plus 26% tax for guests. But there is a way to avoid this (which I will explain later). :smile:

This is the front entrance facing George Washington Ave. If you make a right, you will see many streetwalkers late at night. Avoid them.

Also, if you make a right and walk for five minutes, you will see the Doll's House on your right

Nice pictorial of the hotel and amenities Cheeno! Great recon, as usual! A little over the top in terms of my budget and preferences though. I'll just appreciate the photographs for now and forgo a visit there! The breakfast you photographed is certainly a carb lovers dream. I'll pass on that too, even if it was included!

Doing well my friend, thanks for asking!

If you truly don't know what a IOU is, it is a I owe you....a piece of paper given as a form of payment for something when you don't have cash to pay. Basically you are telling someone to hold on to the piece of paper and you will pay them back. :D
