One hotel that is very chica friendly is Romanoff. I forgot the name of the street, but it is down the street from Super-super and Judy's (right across from the German Bar that serves Thai food, go figure). It cost 25 a night (20 without AC) however it does not have TV.

Also I needed a short stay there and it was $500DR

It was only 300DR and it was clean and man could that dominicana fuck.

Just returned home from my trip to sosua. I found a hotel online called romanoff hotel. I didnt really know much about the hotel , but I made reservation for 6 days, since i couldn't find another hotel. This hotel has got to be the worst hotel in Sosua. They dont have curtains on their windows, I couldn't even get a good night sleep ,i was getting a tan sleeping in the bed in the morning..there is no water pressure, i didnt even have a good shower all the time i was there. On top of that the bed was so hard I was having back pain, not to mention there are many dominicans that live in the hotel with there families, so i have to deal with the noise early in the morning , kids crying , people spanking their kids. I kept looking for another hotel to stay, but the hotels in sosua were full , because of the high tourist season. after the 4th day I finally found a hotel called villa chessa, a very clean , quite hotel, So i went back to romanoff to check out at 10:00am in the morning. I had 2 more days remaining , and they told me they would only refund me 1 day. When i complained about the hotel , they ask me what the hell do i expect for $35.00 per night, they told me i didn"t have to stay at their hotel. This hotel is the worse hotel in sosua. I will never even wake by this hotel again, and i wouldn't even recommend this hotel to anyone ..

for 35 bucks i want curtains on my windows... cause i usually fall asleep as the sun is comin up in the DR... the water pressure usually sucks everywhere... only place it was good on the North is Hotel Rey in La Vega... In SDQ i stayed at Hotel Melia and i believe it was good there too... but that place is considered 4 or 5 star in the DR.... does that place have A/C... and if dominican families are living there then there must be a dominican rate cause they aint paying near 35 a night to live there!

Pretty interesting that someone posted about this on DR1 because I was going to post here to let everyone know of an alternative if you you stuck for a room.

I went down to Sosua for the weekend unplanned for my novia's birthday - without a room reserved. Sosua was sold out and I was told about the Romanoff by a friend of mine who lives down there. It is on the same street as Eddy's (where I watched my Jets rip my heart out again on Saturday) but on the on the other side of the street. There is a bar next door and one across the street who had chicas in them from sun up to sun down.

It was $30/night. I had a large apartment with a kitchen. The bathroom had soap in it, 3 towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper - more than the Eurpoa who treat toilet paper like gold. The bedroom had AC with an overhead fan also.

For what I needed it for, it serve it's purpose. The windows did not have curtains but after being out all night until 6AM I had no problems falling and staying asleep.

Hey if you are stuck, it is a place to crash. It is chica friendly. I did not get stopped once by anyone who asked my novia for ID. It will not be my first choice but if I am stuck again, I would not have a problem staying here.

i dont go on DR1... maybe i will now that i have access from home and am bored sometimes... but i have the feeling that most of the guys on there arent mongers that are able to handle conditions that we are... i think we settle for sub-par places and things to get the pussy and fun that we are after... i can deal with some shit... i do have a problem sleeping with the sun shining in my room... even here i cant sleep late cause of it.. it has to be dark... i would most likely take the sheet off of my bed and hang it over the windows...

Sports bar, restaurants, fresh juice bar, motoconche's and the best cambio on the same block. Phone/internet service, massage palor and free tourist pussy on the back road. Definitely don't need a car. Still close to all the action. Safe at night. Overall, no problems with this place. It's more than just a short time stay!! That concludes my Romanoff Photo Essay. Nice place to stay if you want to stay off the beaten path, but still be close to the action. My room was $30 US a night. If TV isn't important, you can get one for $25. I think a room with no A/C may be cheaper.
