I did use Jesus on my recent trip and could not have been more pleased. He was where he said he would be when he said and his english speaking ability is appreciated. I WILL be using him again in the future!

He will pick up at POP and Santiago Airports.

But remember what Gdogg said, $15 per car load. That's no matter how many people get in or who he stops to pick up. The total is $15.....

Actually, when we used him, he also picked up another guy who was on our same flight. I was still happy to pay him his usual fee because there were two of us anyway, but I used him later to go from Sosua to Blackbeards and paid him less than the rates quaoted from Costambar, so I guess it all evened out...

The hosing is an initiation of sorts, I guess. I actually shorted him on my trip to the airport, so I'm one of the few who actually owe HIM!

Jesus is a good guy and $15US is actually reasonable from the POP airport to the Palace in Sosua.

We got a regular taxi from the Europa to the POP airport for RD$500 at 6:45am.

Jesus dropped me and my 2 boys at the airport when we left last weekend... I handed him $15 for the 3 of us including about 8 suitcases and 2 chicas that too the ride with us... I said quince si? he said normally he charges $18 but for me $15 is ok... huh? i said for me it will never be more then 15

I know its pretty steep but i only pay $15 and for 3 guys 2 chicas and 8 suitcases its worth it to me... unfortunately i dont have a house there that can hold my clothes so i have to bring suitcases :D

The public taxis is Sosua get 200 pesos to go to the airport. Thats $7.40 guys!

Public taxis (carro publico) get 200 peso to go to Puerto Plata. Is should be cheaper to go to the airport!

There's another guy he uses and he was really cool and adhered to the prices set. Jesus fucked over two more of my buddies even after 15 dollars was already discussed. They wanted to go home and not deal with him.

But yes, John has another guy. John always warns me not to be friendly with them because they turn on you. I'll get you the name...I have it somewhere.
