Education has also taken a harsh blow during these rolling blackouts. Night classes at some public schools have been limited because there is no power. The prolonged blackouts lasting up to 20 hours make it impossible for backup power inverters to fully charge and with limited resources many schools don't have the money to buy fuel for energy generators. In some schools professors are using kerosene lamps in order to teach.
