I give two thumbs up to the Sea Breeze. Mainly for the value....$40.00 cash including taxes/night. Rooms are clean, bed's are new and comfortable, 20 inch plasma TV, small refridgerator, great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Pool is very clean that is cleaned with a automatic pool cleaner that was cool.........and easy walking distance to the clubs. I was picked up by the owner at POP and he picked up me, T-Bob another gringo that was staying at the New Garden. No problem, he just dropped him off at the NG and took Bob and me to the hotel. Nice guy with a lot of info on the DR and Sosua...can not remember his name, but I did like him.

I also like their policy that no chica can leave without you escorting them out! With all the problems with chicas stealing, etc. I like the fact that you have to let the chica to the door and then everyone knows that nothing is wrong.

Just another option for those staying in Sosua.

I think this is where ill stay. Thanks for the update tpdog. Greatly appreciated. Was there a fee for the airport pickup? If so, care to share?

And from what u said, its best to pay cash and u avoid the vat? Ive also read in some reports that the mini fridge is not in all rooms? Has this changed?

Last question, How was the A/c:)... sorry, i had to ask for Weyland:)

And definetly last question, any recommendations on a certain floor or facing in a certain direction to avoid street noise? thanks

I know that in the past that the establishment of Seabree Hotel had some negative press on regards to replyign to emails. Well, either they been listening or, they agreed in some way that they needed to be quicker. I sent them a reservation requests 30 minutes ago and they replied already..

Woohoo

Hello Chris

Yes your room come with refry, safety, a/c, tv plasma...$40.00 cash

HOTEL SEA BREEZE SOSUA

Whoo hooo

I am guessing that refry is a mini fridge and that saftey is a safe:)

Now i have to reread all of Kens thread to remember what little gimmicks he did and brought with him to have a better time:)

The street is not that busy so the noise was not a problem.....the owner told me that the 3rd floor had a ocean view so if you book a room, ask for the 3rd floor facing the ocean.
The air was great....was told to keep it on all day by the manager.
Hot water was not on a switch....full time hot water from a 250 gallon tank.
My room had a refridgerator.....when I set up the reservation I requested one.
The airport pick up was free, and was picked up by the manager who is from Miami and speaks fluent english.
He had a lot of stories about stupid tourists paying WU money and falling in love with chicas. A great one is a chica who is very average looking who drives a red moto and her WU man sends her $1,000 US every month.
She works Classicos every night!!!
Tropical Bob is staying there right now and if he reads this thread...hopefully not until he gets back...but would probably say the same as I as far as the hotel and the value.
Using a credit card is $46.00 and cash is $40.00.....I think he prefers american dollars to pesos.

sounds perfect. Free airport pickup is a $20-$25 savings(depending on who u talk to)meaning, thats one free shortime dominican chica midget for me:)

Usually I go to Sosua for 7 weeks at a time. This will be my only trip this winter next one should be May/June.

Would be glad to have a Presidente with you. Most days after breakfast I go for a massage at M and M then off to the beach, usually hang out at either the Scandanavian bar or Mary Bar.
