Monsignor Agripino Nunez Collado says that he hopes the government will not use their majority in Congress obtained in the midterm elections to subdue or crush the opposition when making decisions. The Chancellor of Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) said that he expects President Leonel Fernandez to ratify statements by PLD leader Danilo Medina, assuring that agreements will be sought on fundamental issues facing the country, according to a report by El Caribe.
