my preferred hideaway, its about 5 minutes drive beyond puerto plata to santiago, on the right hand. the usual system: drive into the garage, lower the electric powered door, the bill will be handed through a caroussel passthrough, you dont have to face no staff.
rates for normal rooms 320 pesos, 4 hours, overnight stays possible. there are executives too, i dont use them. clean, nice rooms, working a/c and tv with sexchannel, shower with hot water. roomservice, decent food roomservice at fair prices.

Many Cabanas just do it by the hour so you either buy 4/8/12 hour blocks. I think this place only has a few for overnight but the do have a pool there.

Go to Jarabaccoa for 2-3 nights, that place is great.

i just had breakfast and lunch combined in bed at sensacion, with my haitianita. i didnt see her for one month, 'cause her gringo novio from abroad came to visit, cashing in his dividends for the western union transfers, lol.
overnight is 680 pesos.
the chica that gives me my usual discount wasnt there, so i had to pay the full rate, but was worth every single peso. gee, that haitianita got the most perfect titts!

JIMMYDR: I promised myself I'd get out and see the country this time. Last trip I saw the inside of my hotelroom lots...and the beach but nothing outside of Sosua or Los charamicos except the airport.

DOMFAN: Thanks for the price info on the canbana.

It's simple...
The Cabana is Four (4) Kilometers from Puerto Plata on the Autopista (Highway 1) on the way to Naverette.

You will see Km markers along major roads.

you ll not get lost, there are 4 different cabanas on that highway within 5 minutes driving distance, all very new and ok.
if you got a cab, he will lure you to the place that gives him the highest commission, part of the deal; as usual. but he will wait for you, since you pay him at the end.

Last May I paid 620 pesos for a 5 star cabana (two stories, jacuzzi, huge bed, tv etc) for 5 hours. That was Nueva York (although I think they were renamed to something else).

Yeah, they were really good. Plus they had a whole menu to ordr food and even Viagra!
Way better than the ones I stayed in in Bonao last september. Those were kinda small and didn't have a lot of stuff. I think I had to pay 1500 for their ejecutivo suite for the whole night.......kinda expensive compared to the Nueva York one.....

ask a dominican for an address, he will never say 'i dont know', he will just point you in some direction, so he is off.....
as for the prices, they are real: abot 320 for normal, up to the double for executives.
new york now is BURBUJAS DE AMOR, means lovebubbels...., thats where the 2-story suites are.
and dont ask chicas their ages, few will tell the truth.

if i think a girl is too young... it doesnt hurt to ask.. sometimes they tell the truth... as it happened in this case...

Any UP TO DATE info on this cabana?

Prices still the same? Quality of the place still high? Jacuzzi still work? That sort of thing would be most appricieated.

Cheers

Dan

The prices are better during the week, then weekends, but again there are many cabañas along that strip.

As for the cheapest (but still clean/nice) cabaña in Santiago, it would definitely be Cabañas Turísticas La Alborada Av R Vidal (809) 471-3728 near Ambis. They offer RD$179 4 hour specials during the week.

A little strange for your first post. I trust that you will contribute to this site in a positive manner and not use it to search for this person. We have very tight rules here so keep that in mind! Other than that, welcome!

If he only owes you 100 US then drop 10 and punt. Lesson well learned.
