Most Thai clubs are death traps, with no fire exits, etc, I've occasionally thought about that...

That was a bad start of the year for some.

Shit, all of Nana Entertainment Plaza is a freakin' tinderbox, and there is only the one main exit. I was worried that it would be a target after the bombing at Kuta beach on Bali a few years back.

A well loaded car bomb at the entrance of Nana Plaza would turn heaven into hell quickly – there’d be no way out.

That’s what an Islamic cell was planning a couple of years ago (remember that Thailand is in conflict with some Islamic segment of the population in the south of the country), but the cell was arrested thanks to the good work of the Thai intelligence services; even so the fact that they are after it raises some concern, there is non-stop traffic going through that street where the entrance is, so operationally doing that is a walk in the park for them.
