[DR1] Leonel promoting constitutional reform

President Leonel Fernandez has held the first meeting aimed at launching a consultation process for the reform of the Constitution and other state establishments. This first meeting was held with the National Council of State Reform, according to Presidential Technical Minister Temistocles Montas. The political party law was analyzed in aspects pertaining to state financing and the proposal of a new electoral law. Also discussed were a bill of state acts and the issue of municipal reform to give city halls greater participation.
