I just got an email from AA that said because I did over 125k miles in 2008 with AA and am exec platinum I can chose one of 4 awards. 2 system wide upgrades, 25k miles, admirals club 1 year, or have a friend become gold.
The system wide upgrades sounded good but they pretty much need to be on flights that were purchased full fare. I never do that and already have 8 system wides
25k miles? I have almost 500k miles and have no idea when I can use them.... . .
gold for a friend? I have no friends. . . .lol. . .well none that aren't atleast gold already;-)
I never used to give a crap about admirals club but when you travel a lot just a nice place to relax in QUIET can be a god send and the wifi also helps.
There are different awards if a gold flyer gets 40k miles and if platinum does 75k or so. So if that applys to any of you read your AA emails. . . .I almost missed mine.
