The contest to select this year's Miss Spain will be held in the DR. Miss Spain 2008 Patricia Rodriguez confirmed the information during her visit to the Dominican Republic stand at the Fitur tourist trade meeting being held in Madrid. She said the event would take place at the National Theater in Santo Domingo in May. A total of 52 candidates representing the 52 provinces in Spain will compete, according to a report in Hoy.
