The police are on the trail of two individuals who robbed the administrative offices of the Santo Domingo Country Club, the exclusive golf and social club on the west side of the city at around 9pm on Sunday night. They are reported to have got away with RD$400,000 in cash. The club's watchmen said they recovered a box with RD$200,000. Colonel Milton de Leon Perez is in charge of the investigation. As reported, the thieves entered the accounts office, and one used a mask and carried a shotgun in the robbery before leaving the premises.
