I would be amiss if I didn't take the time to thank prtyr2 for his tour last night in la capital. We had first met on Super Sunday at a local sports bar had a few beers and then headed to the Jaragua casino, I don't think I was much good company because I was gambling heavy and drinking pretty heavy too. P2 not a gambler sat at the bar and watched the game. Me being drunk by the time I left I don't think I even said goodbye, because by that time I forgot I came with anybody. My bad.
The next day I was off to the mountains for a night and when I got back in town, recontacted p2, we met on el conde had a beer at las flores and then he called his driver and we were off to sample as many places as possible in 2 - 3 hours. I must say that without his local knowledge and his time the majority of the places he took me too I would have never found on my own. He took me to a mix of places first a few houses or small casas where the chicas are then and waiting for you; and then to a couple of regular dominican social clubs, where the wealthy dominicans go.
We stopped in about 6 spots: the first being GBP's on 27 Febrero, I will definitely frequent that spot again. There had to be about 10 - 12 girls there when we arrived. So there was only the three of us and a dominican dude who was sitting in the corner with a chica. I saw at least 4 or 5 chicas that if we didn't have a plan to see other places and if I didn't already have a chica waiting for me when I returned home I would have jumped on right then. As we sat there by the bar, one of the chicas would come over and do a little strip tease for us and grind her body as she danced a real nice lap dance. As I said very impressed with this place. The next stop was a house #504B ( I forget the name of the street), just a regular house in a residential block, I would have never known there were chicas there if he didn't bring me there. About 7 -8 chicas there about 2 impressed me. As P2 explained to me these places are hit or miss, some nights you can go in and not be too impressed and others nights there will be chicas that will rival chicas you have seen anywhere else. Actually not a bad place at all and liked their setup. Then we went to another place called the Shylo bar on Av. Cayetano Germosen a small casa, only about 4 chicas in the place, but clean and very nice.
After that spot we hit some regular dominican clubs, I must say they were all nice with nice looking girls working there, not working for take out or in house activity but as waitresses and basic decoration. To get them I think you would need to spend some time in the place and be able to converse with them, but they definitely can be had. In all of the regular clubs there were good looking chicas just sitting around. I really enjoyed them, at one of the places one of the chicas stuck a microphone in my face and I belted out a little tune. The chicas were nice to look at and very friendly. I guess that what the wealthy dominican business man likes and these clubs cater to that. Quickly the names were Franklin's on Betencourt and Pravada; Mambo Bar on Winston Churchill and one other that I can't recall at the time. After Mambo Bar P2 stayed to chat up one of the waitresses and told his driver to drive me home, because my chica had called and said she was horny, duty calls :lol:. Any way one of these days soon we are planning to get together again and introduce me to some more out of the way places, which are the type of places I really like. It's tough to do these types of places, however if you only have a few days for your vacation. But if you have a lot of time or are a frequent travellor to la capital a must see, especially if you are looking for a chica that you don't necessarily have to pay for. That is a major reason why I like the chica that was waiting for me that night because she is one of my neighbors and we met as neighbors and over time she became my amante, there is no pay involved and we go out to dinner and dancing a couple of nights a week. I am looking for a couple of more like her and the chances are better in the regular dominican clubs.
