Aloha Sol is located on Calle Del Sol downtown, (la cuidad) Santiago. This hotel has great service and is very clean and well maintained. Although some of the rooms are small, they are comfortable. Rates run about $40-$50 per night.
Calle Del Sol offers some of the best girl watching in DR. During the day, chics are everywhere! Located in a central shopping and cultural center, it attracts 1000's of beautiful young ladies who attend school or work nearby. 10 minute walk from the Monument and many other nice hangouts nearby.
Warning: At night the streets are completly desolate because the area shuts down. DO NOT WALK AROUND ALONE AT NIGHT!!
