The Senate approved the presidential appointments of Octavio Lister to Guatemala, Fernando Perez Memen to Mexico, Victor Grimaldi to the Holy See and Hector Dionisio Perez to Brazil. It was also announced that Roberto Saladin would be again be appointed ambassador to the United States, Cesar Medina would be the new ambassador in Spain and Guillermo Pina Contreras is appointed in Argentina, as reported in El Dia.
Anibal de Castro was confirmed as ambassador to the United Kingdom, Adonaida Medina in Costa Rica, Pedro Blandino in Nicaragua and Jaime Duran in Venezuela. Other appointments are Ruben Silie in Haiti, Jose Serulle in Trinidad & Tobago, Alejandro Gonalez Pons in Brussels, Rodolfo Rincon Martinez in Uruguay and Daniel Guerrero in Paraguay.
