Santiago is loaded with Cabanas ranging from lower budget to executive level. Most are located on either Pista Duarte (Santo Domingo) or Pista Balaguer (Puerto Plata) both also known as Highway 1. Prices will range between $125RD to $600RD for a short stay and up to $125US per night for a duplex, jacuzzi hook up at HELIOS, ZEUS, MIRAGE OR HORUS.

-the executive which is a standard room WITH jacuzzi costs 2,100 Pesos

It wasn't a dump but a very standard room, double bed, clean bathroom but no marble, woodwork, erotic paintings, etc. It is owned by Horus. And the TV only had porn and nothing else.

Just drive in and out of all the ho houses...you are bound to find something you like...plus they are all near one another...gotta love that!

Same as all the others. we were there 2 hours and rented 4 or 5. Problem is the chicas are so close they want to leave and walk back.

Cons:
Small room
Looks like a Public Storage place, rooms are over the garage with a metal rolling slat door.
Walls are THIN!

Yes it's right next door, maybe 50 feet of walking.

I wouldn't give a fuck if I walked in with a carryon.

Stayed at Zeus for 4 hours. Executive suite with jacuzzi was about RD 450. With a Presidente Grande, my bill was RD $500. This was perfect for the JetBlue RedEye. The simple room was RD$300 for 4 hours.
