Here is a website that I use, so that I can keep up with the news, by actually reading my local newspaper no matter where I am in the world.
I also use it when I want a different perspective on news or a more in depth perspective, that is to say if news happens in Seattle, Washington for example and it is lightly covered or not covered at all, in my local paper I choose one of the dailys from Seattle, and read about the event from there.
They also have foreign papers from around the world, Canada, Europe, Africa, many countries in the Caribbean and South America. Obviously to understand news from a foreign paper you have to be able to read that particular language.
