Public Health officials are warning about a virus that has been affecting small children during the last 15 days and is primarily caused by improper hygiene. Doctors are reporting an increase in the number of gastroenteritis cases among children. Public Health Minister Bautista Rojas Gomez said he is not sure how many cases have been reported within the last 15 days, but says this minor "outbreak" is normal for this time of year. Children suffering from the virus are experiencing bouts of vomiting, diarrhea and fever.
