The DR is the country that receives the third most international calls from New York, out of a list of 10 countries, as published by National Geographic in Spanish, reports Hoy. Reportedly, 8.9% of all calls made from New York are to the DR. The DR is only surpassed by Canada with 14.4% and the United Kingdom with 10.2%. The source for the information is AT&T Labs. Mexico is 4th with 4.3%, India has 3.2@, France 3.1%, Jamaica 3.0%, Germany 2.7%, Italy 2.1% and Israel 2%.
