Panama was selected yesterday as host for the OAS 37th General Assembly. Panama's nomination was proposed by the country's Vice President and Foreign Minister Samuel Lewis Navarro. This will be the second time Panama is to host a General Assembly, having hosted the 26th assembly in 1996.
