Transporting Food To the DR?

Hi,

I am a big Ben and Jerry's fan and I wanted to pack some ice cream for my next trip. Are there any restrictions about bringing food into the DR or the use of dry ice on airplanes that might prevent me from taking a couple of pints of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with me?

Thats right, they keep it on the side by the milk. There is no need to bring your own Ice Cream really.
