I just want the rate and inflation to be stable. The rate isn't the problem. The problem is it take so long for prices to adjust to the rate. Hell prices still haven't adjusted to the low rate and I don't think it ever will.
Therefore I am for 50-1 rates with inflation running rampant

For my own selfish reasons (cheap pussy), I'd rather see scenario #1 (50-1). :D
As long as this country stays relatively unstable (inflationary), foreign direct investment will always be low. If FDI is low, GDP will remain low, and if GDP is low, pussy is cheap. :D
Let's keep the DR in the third world a little bit longer. :D
Yes... I am a cheap bastard.

I would like to see #2 happening for the country. I don't think the holidays will cost that much more anyways..

53 to 1!!...Rioting in the streets, with the masses blocking major traffic arteries, burning tires and battling with the "Policia" and soldiers again means cheap taxis, longer blackouts (flushing chicas out of their homes and into places with plantas) and prime pussy for 1000 pesos TLN for us!!! Bwahahahahaha!

agree.. I voted for #1 as well..
I want my breakfast for under $2. My dinner for under $8. My taxi to the airport under $13. My ST for $12 or less and overnight for $50 or less. What ever the peso has to be to get me that, well thats what I want.

I think in the end it will not matter much.. pussy will remain cheap if the rate is low.. provided the dollar doesn't slide that much jejejeje...prices will eventually go down again to reasonable levels.. at 30 to 1 prices should be
Presidente at the colmado DR$ 30 and DR$ 60
Breakfast DR$ 100
Dinner DR$ 300
ST DR$ 400
LT DR$ 800
These are prices that were in effect last year when the rate was around this level, well actually slightly higher (at around 36 to 1)
Of course for me the price for a ST at DR$ 500 would be around Eur 12 still...

I'd take 30-1 if EVERYTHING was stabilized. But they're not. So I'm voting 50-1. Sorry for being selfish during the giving season.

With price stability. Dollarization would be the deathknell of mongering there. I can't think of a single place where dollars as currency= cheap pussy. Not even in trailer parks.

ST = $35.00US (up to 3 hours)
TLN = $75.00US (includes wake up sex :P)
Beer / store / supermarket = $0.80US
Beer / club / bar / restaurant = $3.00US
