I live in the country and I tend to spend more time with the locals then with tourists, I actually prefer them in a lot of ways; their spirit, their love of life even though they don't have much, their kindness I know many that don't have nothing but what they do have they will share with you; their ability to have fun, I love watching the kids playing pick up baseball with a stick and a platic top that floats through the air, and they have a great time, no need for anything fancy that we take so often for granted; (no offense to any tourists but I don't see the same things, and if I wanted to spend all my time around Americans, Canadians, or Europeans that would be where I was living instead of here). They are very warm people, and if you are with a female who introduces you to them you are part of the family. But as others have said respect them, and don't disrespect the woman you happen to be with, because this is their country and their women, regardless of what she may do for a living. I like to have fun and I believe they sense that, and they also sense that I enjoy being here in their country and I don't feel I am better or Superior in any way or fashion, when they realize that about you, I find they tend to treat you as gold.

These things have been important to me, because lately I have been pursuing the non-pros, and when you do that you tend to be in their neighborhoods and where they hang, and if you are a phony or look down on them, they can smell it a mile away. If you are a cool person, they will treat you like wise, if you are a dick, they will treat you like wise, so in my humble opinion, as far as the question you asked the ball is in your court, decide what you are going to do with it.

One other thing that I have found if you are decent, and treat them accordingly meaning the women, they will fall all over you, without you even trying. Just this past week I have met two non-pros. Got their numbers, the first one, hung out with her in her neighborhood all day, met the family and of course ended up in the bed, by the way it was her bed where she lived, which was actually very nice. That was four days ago, and she has been calling every day since to get me back out there. But it is difficult because I got a semi girlfriend that needs my attention also. Tonight I went into a bar first time met one of the bartenders there, total Dominican bar and walked out with the digits, weren't even trying to get them, to be honest, she has indicated she will go out with me, she wants to tomorrow, but I am busy, but when we do, I also know I will end up in the bedroom. I just left her an hour ago, and she just called me while she was still working just to say hi.

That is an indication of the locals, just to name a word I would describe them as incredible.

By the way one other thing to my fellow brothers that live down here in Santo Domingo, talking to you Dom Wolf, Mr. Happy and P2, thanks to these new women got two new bars, or maybe they aren't new to you guys that got incredible talent. Must be checked out, the first one is in East Santo Domingo called Eagles on San Isidro and the second is called Mamaya on esquina of Ave. Tiradentes and Pedro Livio Cedeno. The first one has the sexiest waitresses I have every seen, all wearing the shortest skirts imaginable that you can see their ass cheeks and wife beaters, absolutely incredible. The second bar has live music on the weekends and some very hot bartenders as well, I was there tonight a slow Monday and they had eight, can't wait to check it out on a weekend.

I totally agree with this. I guessed I cheated because I have a local who invited me to this place near a car wash. If your nice and courteous the girl will returned you a favor. Of course, it helps having a local giving you social proof and translate for me. If you're reading this Mr. Bookeeper, get at me.

I can say this. The older guys I felt are much kinder and willing to help you out. I get this comments a lot, "tell me what you need and I'll help you". The younger guys early 20's to late 20's are the guys that you need to watch out, especially the teenagers. When I was there, I felt they're bunch of trouble maker and a hustlers.

Retirement is good, you have time for all sorts of things:p:rofl:! Plus I don't sleep much and wake up at all different times of the night to use the bathroom, getting old is a bitch:eek:, during those frequent bathroom stops I sneak on the computer. Most of the time I leave the computer on, and reduce the site, so it shows I am on the computer even though I may be out of the crib.

The one problem I see with the local non-pro chica, I must admit is they all want a piece of your time; whereas the pro- always knows she is for rent, and knows when her time is up she has to go. Now that I am starting to deal more with non-pros; I see balancing my time will become much more difficult. But then again that is part of the challenge.:rolleyes:

One more thing about that club/restuarant Eagles in E. Santo Domingo; think of it as a Hooters on steroids, I have been there twice now over the last few days. The first time was either friday or saturday night, don't remember which and there had to be about 15 girls working, they were all so hot and I was there with a lady and didn't know where to place my eyes, definite eye candy. Also went there on Monday in the afternoon for a bite, with a different lady and at that time they only had one chica working; although there was just one, even the young lady I was with, who isn't into other chicas had to comment on how good she looked.

As some of the other guys can tell there is some nice local talent everywhere you look, you just got to be cool and fit in; and let them come to you. These places are not tourists spots, they are Dominican spots and where the Dominicans hang.

I think part of it, is that they appreciate that you show them that you are interested in and willing to immerse and embrace their culture and not just the tourist spots. Also they appreciate your attempt in my case, and the expertise in the case of guys like P2, Mr. Happy, D. Wolf etc in speaking the language. Again when I go in these places I try to be as friendly as possible and say hi to the people that are there, if I am not feeling the vibe in a particular place, there's another right down the block more than likely.

Yeah, they've got some pretty good wings there too. It's one of my favorite places to stop into late at night and get a snack with my evening Chicas. I found the place completely by accident en route to the gym at the Coral Mall down the street. My buddy needed a workout and I needed to shop for some things and find me some new punani. They had the "Catwoman" outfits on the first time there. I was so impressed that I've been going back ever since.

Good luck with that Mikelodge, I personally don't feel I would be of any help in the Sosua area, simply because I don't live there any longer and am out of the loop, haven't been there for more than 6 months. My advice is to read some of the more recent trip reports that have been posted from the area. All I would advise is the same ol spots, Classicos, Latinos, La Passion, El Flow etc. The other spots that I used to know have probably changed, because things do tend to change there quickly. One thing for sure is there are plenty of females there and you won't have a problem if you try, the tried and true and then venture out from there if you want.

I went to Eagles last night with the novia and the maid. They were all wearing very short shorts . . . red ones. teh quality seemed down from the past but still pretty good!

I have not been to Sutra in a long time but when they first opened all the dancers were from venezuela. The same guy used to own Gran mansion and his novia runs 2 places in isaebelita.

There is a new place being opened up right across from Hotel Aquarium. No sign yet but inside looked OK. taxi driver said an Italian guy is opening it up and they will have chicas etc. Those Italian guys at aquarium have their secret stash of chicas so ya never know!

To a Dominican everyone that isn't Dominican they think is rich, and often times even if it isn't so, the perception is more powerful than the reality !!

As for the third one, all women can be easy as long as you are fishing with the right bait !! Often times all it takes is just a little observation, and you can figure out the best approach for that particular chica !!
